Walk With Your WiFi
This sounds too good to be true. Imagine a time when you never have to be without an Internet connection. And really, unless you’re in the shower, I mean never. The WiFi.Bedouin is basically a WiFi node stuffed in a backpack. Though disconnected from the Internet, it forms what the creator, Julian Bleeker, calls a WiFi “island Internet,” which he believes “facilitates the creation of a truly mobile web community.” The backpack includes an adapted 802.11b access point, RF amp, PowerBook G4 a PocketPC PDA mounted to the front and a ton of customized software. Thank you Julian, for understanding.
