Along with Apple’s exciting announcement of the new video iPod among other hardware today, iTunes version 6 is now available for download. Most notably iTunes 6 has full video support for music videos and television. An iTunes Music Store deal with ABC television lets you download shows - like Lost and Desperate Housewives - ad-free the day after they air for $1.99. Watch ‘em on your new iPod or in iTunes on your computer. Finally! Somebody does pay-for, commercial-free downloadable television! Nice work, Apple. iTunes 6 is a free download, Mac or Windows. Apple.com’s servers are getting hammered right now, so you may not be able to download the app at the moment.
