"GroundZero is one of the outcomes of an eight-month long study. Our plans include creating Technical Forums, Research Groups and initiating multi-disciplinary research. Initiation of collaborations with industry, medical institutions and research institutes besides organising Guest Lectures, both motivational and technical have already begun. Currently drawing up and discussing long term road map including setting up of Research Offices. We have already begun implementing these in Sri Venkateswara College of Engineering , Sriperumbudur, India. We are quite happy to offer our services to the student research community in particular and academic institutions as a whole. We are in preliminary consultation with another college representative. We have devised an online database which we hope will evolve literally to become the GroundZero of innovation…a meeting place for interested faculty, students, reserchers and anyone who has had an Eureka! moment, to share their ideas and get working in earnest.

We at GroundZero care deeply for knowledge…this group has long been characterised by members who spend time discussing problems scientific and social not just in the corridors of college, but just about anywhere…anytime! We realised at one point the plethora of practical solutions that these discussions eventually generated. But they stayed just that…ideas. Dare to Dream Big! Dare to Act on them! An engineer does not complain, engineers solve and improvise. Like to become one?!"
