Download of the Day: Blogger for Word

Today, Google announced Blogger for Word, an add-in that lets you post directly from Microsoft Word to your Blogger Account. I grabbed a copy for my Windows PC, gave it a whirl and was pleased by what I found.


Blogger for Word installs as a simple toolbar that lets you open an existing post, and save or publish your current document. After typing out a post, I clicked Save as Draft. Blogger for Word prompted me for my account and password and then loaded the post quickly and correctly. If you’re a Bloggerite and you own a copy of Microsoft Word, you might want to look into this free download. Blogger for Word is compatible with versions of Windows XP/2000 and Microsoft Word 2000 and up.
